Tips for caring for your lawn.
Each season has different care requirments:
Summer (Typically December to February):
CVC&C can help keep your grass mowed frequently.
Maintaining an optimum grass height of 6.5cm to 10cm will help retain moisture.
You should encourage deep root development by watering deeply but infrequently.
Autumn (Typically March to May):
CVC&C suggest to continue mowing schedule as required.
We can help with thin areas of your lawn. This can be addressed by a process known as over-seeding.
CVC&C can supply and apply the correct balanced fertiliser for your lawn. This should be applied before winter to strengthen the roots.
Winter (Typically June to August):
CVC&C suggest that the frequency of your mowing should now be reduced.
We can help with clearing debris from on your lawn. This is required to prevent disease.
Whilst your grass is dorment it is important to avoid excessive foot traffic.
Spring (Typically September to November):
CVC&C can help address the growth of weeds early. This will improve the root growth of your grass.
We can help you to aerate your soil. Aeration of the soil is important to promote lush healthy grass growth.
CVC&C can provide and apply a good quality high-nitrogen fertilizer.
